Two West Auckland beaches 9kms apart, Muriwai and Piha on different days – invoked the same mood of shared waters.
This work was inspired in part by a phrase in David Mitchell’s book & movie Cloud Atlas which I think about often:
“My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops?”
